What is Baylor Giving Day?
February 12 marks our second annual Baylor Giving Day. This is a university-wide, 24-hour fundraising event designed to inspire students, alumni, and friends to make their best gift to their favorite college, program or initiative at Baylor that is meaningful to them!
When does it start?
Baylor Giving Day will begin at 12:00am on February 12, 2020, and run until 11:59pm on February 12, 2020, CDT.
Why should I participate in Baylor Giving Day?
Philanthropy is a critical part of Baylor University’s support. It funds many scholarships for students who otherwise would not be able to attend college and supports the university’s top-notch faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and hands-on learning opportunities for students. Giving back is one of the greatest things we can do for our university and for future Bears. Whether you can give $5 or $500, you are part of the Baylor Family, and you can help make a difference.

What if I don't see my school or organization on the list?
If you do not see the school, organization or program that you would like to support, please consider a gift to the "Give Light Campaign (Baylor Fund)".
General contributions to the Give Light Campaign support many areas of campus, and President Livingstone reviews needs throughout the year to determine where your collective gifts can have the greatest impact.
What will my donation fund?
It’s up to you! You may designate any area of the university that is important to you. Whether your heart is with your college or school or you have an interest in a specific research initiative or student program at Baylor, you are free to choose what your gift supports. When you make your gift, you can select from a list of colleges, schools and units.
How do I donate?
When the campaign is live, you can click the "Make A Gift" button at the top of the website.
Is my gift secure?
Absolutely. Baylor Giving Day is integrated into Baylor University’s online giving platform that utilizes Touchnet which is PCI Level 1-compliant. When making a gift during Baylor Giving Day you are just as secure as making an online gift to Baylor University.
Will my gift on Baylor Giving Day be tax-deductible?
All gifts to Baylor University, including those on Baylor Giving Day supporting specific areas of Baylor are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
