Baylor Parents, thank you for partnering with us in Baylor’s second annual Giving Day! As a parent, you understand the importance of finding the right community for you student as well as the right educational opportunities.
Whether you’re a parent or simply wish to help the students of other parents, the funds we’ve listed enhance the overall student experience beyond tuition and classes.
Student Life
This year we've chosen two funds from Student Life to highlight on Giving Day:
- Student Care & Wellness Fund ($250 serves a student in need): The Student Care & Wellness Fund (SCWF) provides Baylor students with resources during emergency situations they could not otherwise afford to pay.
- Baylor Line Camp Scholarship ($150 per student): Baylor Line Camp provides a welcoming environment for incoming students to experience Baylor while building relationships. Your gift will help provide this opportunity to an incoming student who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford this experience.
The Paul L. Foster Success Center Excellence Fund
This year the funds given to the Excellence Fund from Giving Day will be used to support projects such as:
- Raise the impact of our Tutoring Center: The Tutoring Center is utilized by thousands of Baylor students annually. To help our students in their pursuit of academic excellence, the Tutoring Center needs a facelift. We envision modal, movable furniture, including sturdy tutoring pods.
- Provide $250.00 textbook coupons for students with financial need: Well over 20% of Baylor students have significant financial hurdles and may struggle to purchase all of the books needed for success in the Baylor classroom.
