The foundation of social work is service to others. At Baylor’s Diana R. Garland School of Social Work, students have a unique opportunity to combine their faith and passion for service with sound theory and practice to better understand and appropriately engage the world around them. An education at the Garland School is an expression of how students can live out that faith experience in a tangible way, in an effort to bring about a more just environment. But many times, students need a little help getting there.
What does that help look like? How can you help those following in your footsteps? We've got a few ideas:
$5 can help us support students with emergency needs,
$15 can assist a student with registration fees and help send them to their very first professional conference,
$25 to the Dyer Scholarship Fund can help students off-set a heavy debt load as we work to fully fund this scholarship in celebration of Drs. Preston and Genie Dyer.
We are asking you to help current and future students like you. Every gift matters, no matter the size. And today your gift goes even further thanks to a match* from a generous donor. Every gift strengthens the School’s ability to continue training students to impact their communities and to inform the field of social work. We are grateful for each donor’s generosity!
*a dollar-for-dollar match for gifts up to $500, for a total match of $5,000.
