The Baylor Student Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) would like to invite you to support our mission of “Setting the Standard” for excellence among engineering students. Baylor ASME is largely focused on providing its members with professional and practical development, largely through industry networking, and student research and design competitions
The goals of Baylor ASME are simple: increase and maintain student membership, engage with companies for professional development opportunities, participate in community outreach, and create a community within ASME and the Baylor ECS student body; these goals serve as guiding pillars for ASME and influence each decision we make.
Funding ASME’s campaign will subsidize ASME’s robotics team to attend ASME E-Fest, which is a national engineering conference where ASME competes in robotics, and research. Funding will also subsidize the cost of manufacturing the team’s robot. Within the past, ASME has attended E-Fest and has continually improved and has developed a competitive and committed team. Ultimately, your contribution will help ASME accomplish our goals by allowing more students to attend E-Fest and by fostering the development of a successful student body with practical skills in design, teamwork, and public speaking.
