The newly-created Division of Health Professions provides academic and administrative support for our growing portfolio of graduate professional degree programs and to serve our Army-Baylor University affiliate graduate professional programs. New degree programs include a unique, accelerated, hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, a post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program designed for licensed and practicing occupational therapists. We are currently building an entry-level OTD program with an anticipated launch in the spring of 2021. Each of these programs are characterized by innovative methods of delivering classroom and clinical educational experiences.
Robbins College proudly serves our military. Our Army-Baylor University graduate programs include six Doctor of Science (DSc) programs: DSc in Physician Assistant Studies with specializations in Emergency Medicine, General Surgery and Clinical Orthopaedics; DSc in Physical Therapy with specializations in Manual Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, and; DSc in Occupational Therapy. We also serve the Graduate Program in Nutrition, and the Army-Baylor University entry-level DPT program is ranked 7th by U.S. News and World Report. The DSc post-professional specialty degrees are defined by cutting edge research and advanced clinical practice. Graduates of these programs are foremost experts in their health care professions and are actively working to reshape healthcare delivery.
