We believe God created us to connect. In Student Activities, we are committed to helping every student find a home at Baylor University. We know that each unique experience may include joining an organization, attending a campus event, enjoying a campus tradition, or simply visiting one of our historic buildings. Your support ensures that we can continue to support and enhance experiences that help every student find their home at Baylor.
Who We Are
In the Department of Student Activities, we help students find their home at Baylor University. We open pathways for students to develop their leadership and become people of influence through membership in student organizations. With over 330 chartered student organizations and over 9,300 involved on campus, a student has countless ways to connect that aligns with their passions, interests, and calling. The Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values exists to stimulate the growth and development of fraternity/sorority councils, chapters, and members by promoting leadership, educational, and values-based experiences and resources for student leaders, their advisors, and the larger fraternal market. We recognize that students returning from this conference are excited and engaged in creating new initiatives that will positively impact their community. For our students in MGC and NPHC, AFLV and the National Black Greek Leadership Conference provide unique track opportunities in which members of these organizations can hear from speakers specifically selected to help develop MGC and NPHC leaders, and provide tools to tackle issues specific to their organizations.
Why We Need Your Support
We are proud of our Greek community. In their experiences, our students are thriving as they exhibit exceptional academic performance, contribute significant service to our community, and form lasting friendships grounded in the principled values of Baylor University. Baylor Fraternity and Sorority Life is a diverse community with over 40 inter/national and local organizations. This community offers its members opportunities to expand their undergraduate experience through service, leadership, campus involvement, academic excellence, spiritual growth and brotherhood, and sisterhood. We provide numerous leadership development programs throughout the year to all student organization leaders and encourage students to attend professional conferences to better support and enhance our programs.
How Your Gift Will Help
Your gift will help us provide more opportunities for student leaders to attend professional conferences such as AFLV (Association for Fraternal Leadership & Values), Student Activities Leadership Retreat, host national speakers, or enhance training opportunities for issues that impact our community. We want our community to be distinctive and be the standard for Greek communities nationally. Your investment will help to equip and empower our community to become the standard. Additionally, we continue to invest in facilities that assist our Greek organizations to thrive on campus. Your gift helps to provide the best possible amenities to ensure longevity and opportunity for our community.
