SUPPORT PRIORITIES OF THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION ON BAYLOR GIVING DAY

When you give to the School of Education, your gift benefits more than the Baylor students who receive your support — reaching into local schools, clinical settings, and even sports organizations to impact generations to come.

Are you interested in extending your impact? Our Giving Day wish list includes support for:

FUTURE TEACHERS SCHOLARSHIP FUND (EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND)

The world needs more Baylor teachers, and you can help make this possible. A Baylor teacher may influence thousands of students during a lifetime of service, impacting countless families and communities. Scholarships remain a top priority for preparing the next generation of teachers, many of whom cannot attend Baylor without financial support.

BAYLOR CENTER FOR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

The Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities (BCDD) is the nation’s only disability-focused research, training, and resource center at a Christian university. BCDD equips schools, families, churches, and communities to embrace and support children and adults with a variety of disabilities. The Center is poised to create a future in which people with disabilities receive the opportunities, support, services, and relationships to thrive.

BAYLOR CENTER FOR SCHOOL LEADERSHIP

Invest in the leadership of the profession that makes all other professions possible! The Baylor Center for School Leadership (BCSL) has become a Christian leadership catalyst for educators worldwide, enabling students and teachers to thrive by preparing leaders in both public and private schools across all 50 states and more than 45 countries.

CENTER FOR GIFTED EDUCATION AND TALENT DEVELOPMENT

Baylor’s Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development hosts the nation’s only pre-collegiate talent-development program at a Christian university, providing adolescents access to academically advanced programs, plus one-on-one academic advising. At the heart of the Center is Project Promise, a scholarship program that affords low-income students opportunities to participate in gifted education programming.

SCHOOL OF EDUCATION EXCELLENCE FUNDS

Excellence funds provide flexibility to meet the greatest needs of the School of Education. This can include enabling more students to participate in study abroad and global missions; responding to immediate, unexpected financial needs for students; and expanding opportunities for programs to interface with the community.

It is a great time to be a Baylor Bear, and there is incredible momentum in the School of Education.
