SUPPORT MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS ON BAYLOR GIVING DAY
With over 50 academic/professional, religious, Greek, and special interest multicultural organizations, Baylor University is home to numerous programs and initiatives that support students and alumni in developing a sense of belonging. Through your generosity, Multicultural Affairs continues to support the university’s mission of preparing Baylor Bears for global and worldwide leadership.
Funds received on Giving Day can go toward:
MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS EXCELLENCE FUND
The Multicultural Affairs Excellence Fund supports the Department of Multicultural Affairs in aiding students on their journey to self-awareness and in learning about the many cultures represented on campus.
PEARL BEVERLY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Pearl Beverly Endowed Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to students who serve in a mentoring capacity through university mentorship programs. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need.
The Portraits Scholarship fund awards scholarship to students participating in the Portraits community program through mentoring. This program is a non-profit that focuses on providing opportunities for children in local communities to participate in performing arts.
The Trailblazer Scholars Program is designed to recognize the importance of fostering diversity and mutual respect at Baylor University. Students in the program participate in leadership and service opportunities through Baylor's Multicultural Affairs Department and other groups and programs on Baylor's campus.
As part of Baylor’s commitment to listen, learn and take actionable steps regarding racial healing and justice in America, the Trailblazer Scholars Program also reflects the University’s mission to educate men and women for worldwide leadership and service by integrating academic excellence and Christian commitment within a caring community.
