The School of Engineering and Computer Science prepares students to succeed in the workplace while helping them understand how they can use their skills to improve their communities and share their faith throughout the world. These are exciting times for the School as we celebrate our 27th anniversary and look to the future within the context of Baylor's academic strategic plan, Illuminate.
Baylor's School of Engineering and Computer Science has developed the following priorities that enhance collaboration, cultivate scholarship and provide opportunities for growth:
ENGINEERING AND COMPUTER SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
As you all know, few investments more directly impact the life of a Baylor student than a scholarship. Gifts to scholarships provide for our students as they pursue their academic goals, removing financial obstacles and creating opportunities for success.
DEPARTMENTAL EXCELLENCE FUNDS
Key priorities for this year include developing programs in the areas of Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Data Sciences, and Cybersecurity. Gifts to the following excellence funds provide flexibility to meet the greatest needs of the School, helping us create infrastructure in these areas as donor funding becomes available.

- Mechanical Engineering Excellence Fund
- Computer Science Excellence Fund
