SUPPORT CAMPUS RECREATION ON BAYLOR GIVING DAY
The outside basketball court at the SLC is being resurfaced over Spring Break to accommodate the growing sport of pickleball. This will be used within the Intramural Sports Program, the Club Sport Program, and during informal recreation for the entire Baylor community, including faculty and staff and their families. The court will be resurfaced and pickleball lines will be added for three courts. Intramural Pickleball in 2022 had over 400 students signed up to play. Presently the only two pickleball courts on campus are at the Penland courts. The McLane Student Life Center is open at least 12 hours per day and the back yard volleyball, basketball, and soon pickleball courts are lighted for use during evening hours.
