FY19 Baylor Giving Day

In its inaugural year, Baylor Giving Day is an university-wide, 24-hour fundraising event designed to inspire students, alumni and friends to make a gift to their favorite programs at Baylor that are meaningful to them!

Baylor Giving Day will begin at noon on August 28, 2018 and run until noon on August 29, 2018 CDT.

Philanthropy is a critical part of Baylor University’s support. It funds many scholarships for students who otherwise would not be able to attend college and supports the university’s top-notch faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and hands-on learning opportunities for students. Giving back is one of the greatest things we can do for our university and for future Bears. Whether you can give $5 or $500, you are part of the Baylor Family, and you can help make a difference.

Additionally, your gift may be matched to increase the impact of your gift. Be sure to check out the Challenges and Matches section on the right side of the homepage.

If you do not see the school, organization or program that you would like to give to, please select either "Baylor Fund" or "Other."

The Baylor Fund supports many areas of campus, and President Livingstone reviews needs throughout the year to determine where Baylor Fund gifts can have the greatest impact.  If you select "Other," please type in where you would like your donation to go and our gift processing team will find the area you wish to support.

When the campaign is live, you can click the "Make A Gift" button at the top of the website.

It’s up to you! You may designate any area of the university that is important to you. Whether your heart is with your college or school or you have an interest in a specific research initiative or student program at Baylor, you are free to choose what your gift supports. When you make your gift, you can select from a list of colleges, schools and units.

Absolutely. Baylor Giving Day is integrated into Baylor University’s online giving platform that utilizes Touchnet which is PCI Level 1-compliant. When making a gift during Baylor Giving Day you are just as secure as making an online gift to Baylor University.

All gifts to Baylor University, including those on Baylor Giving Day supporting specific areas of Baylor are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
