Who We Are
The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) is located in Dallas, Texas and provides a competitively robust education through the integration of faith and academic excellence. We believe that nurses have been called to make a difference and we prepare our students within a Christian community, for professional practice, health care leadership, and worldwide service. Baylor nurses exemplify our school motto, Learn.Lead.Serve.® and many of our graduates have served with distinction around the world in all areas of the medical field, mission field and branches of the United States Armed Forces.
We offer Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees through a Traditional program and FastBacc® (one year accelerated) program. LHSON also offers an online Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Innovation program, as well as Doctor of Nursing Practice online programs to include, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse-Midwifery and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Why We Need Your Support
LHSON has recently transitioned from an overcrowded and outdated facility into a contemporary new building but the fundraising for this incredible facility is in its final stages and there remains a need to help bring this project to a successful completion. With the addition of almost 100,000 square feet of expanded space for active learning classrooms, student services, a new auditorium and offices for faculty and administration, the new LHSON Academic Building more than doubles the space of the current LHSON campus to accommodate our growing program.
