Who we are:
The Department of Aerospace Studies provides students the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities to understand and demonstrate Air Force values, team and leadership fundamentals, effective communication, and national security affairs. Our classes are taught by active duty officers with first-hand military experience. If Baylor students are actively pursuing a commission as an officer in the Armed Forces, our department provides the requisite education and training through lectures and leadership practicums.
Why we need your support:
Our department strives to enhance the professional development of our students based on the understanding that many will go on to pursue careers in service and sacrifice to our country. Our students will lead the nation in deterring war and protecting the security of our country. We endeavor to provide them with developmental experiences and to remove barriers to their education.
How your gift will help:
Your gift to the Chaplain Major General Gerald E. Marsh Alumni Scholarship Fund honors Chaplain Marsh, class of 1951, who last served as the mobilization assistant to the Air Force Chief of Chaplains. Contributions to this fund will be directly allocated to students who receive recognition from our Alumni Scholarship board held every Baylor Homecoming.
The Aerospace Studies Excellence Fund will help provide opportunities for travel to leadership conferences or military training events, bringing distinguished visitors to campus, and enhancing the camaraderie between our students through on-campus events.
