The Department of Art and Art History is pleased to take part in Baylor’s Giving Day. The Department is made up of 100 undergraduate majors, 18 full-time faculty, and nine full-time staff. We are made up of art history, seven studio art areas, the Martin Museum of Art and the Allbritton Art Institute. We offer three degrees, the B.F.A. in Studio Art, the B.A. in Studio Art, and the B.A. in Art History, as well as minors in both studio and art history.
Please peruse the Department website at https://www.baylor.edu/art/ to get an idea of the scope of the educational opportunities offered, the range of facilities, and examples of student and faculty work that demonstrate the professional quality, dedication, and talent of students and faculty alike.
Your gifts to the Art and Art History Department will enhance scholarship and learning opportunities for our undergraduate students. Gifts to the Martin Museum of Art will help with renovations that are currently underway and to the enhancement of the study collection which is incorporated into the department curriculum, as well as to future exhibitions.
Alums are invited to contact Prof. Mark Anderson, chair of the department (mark_anderson@baylor.edu, or 254-710-1867) with any questions or to schedule a tour of the facilities.
