Africa New Life Project

Announced in January 2021, Baylor University has entered into a partnership agreement with Africa New Life Ministries to create the Baylor Africa New Life Initiative. The collaboration’s purpose is to address and resolve systemic poverty through research and sustained engagement with the communities served in the Republic of Rwanda by Africa New Life Ministries.

Baylor’s student organization BUILD has joined the partnership agreement and has committed to building two container clinics equipped to support the immediate medical needs of the Rwandan communities which are already served by ANL’s Community Nurses.

At $35,000 per clinic, the Initiative has set a goal of building two container clinics per semester in the first year of the Initiative, with the expectation to grow the organization and its capacity in future years.

The BUILD team is working alongside Medical Bridges, an organization, based in Houston, TX, that seeks to bridge the healthcare gap worldwide by procuring and distributing medical equipment and supplies to underserved communities.

Your support could help send much-needed medical resources to Rwanda as we seek to promote human flourishing for vulnerable children in Rwanda and inspire, engage and impact the lives of the Baylor family.
