We are proud of our Baylor Law students who navigated a COVID-impacted summer job market and secured excellent positions in the government and non-profit sectors. While providing substantial experience, these positions do not offer compensation which impacts a student’s ability to make ends meet over the summer.
The Law Career Development Summer Stipend Program launched in Spring 2021 to support Baylor Law students in their summer experiences serving the government and non-profit sectors. In addition to supporting judges and prosecution offices across Texas, students will also serve the State’s most vulnerable populations through their non-profit service.
This year, Baylor Law is considering 55 student applications for summer stipend support. We are fortunate to have some established funds for summer stipends, however, this year’s need is greater than ever.
