Fraternity & Sorority Life
Support Our Greek Community

Baylor’s Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) community plays an important role in building community and fostering success. Our organizations continue to contribute to the rich legacy and tradition of fraternity and sorority excellence at Baylor with the proper support, resources, and vision. This year, on Baylor’s Giving Day, we are excited to elevate three specific ways that you can partner in the shared experience of our students. As we continue to invest in the pillars of our vision, we are taking this moment to focus on Celebrating Diversity, Providing Safe Spaces to Gather, and Continued Training and Advocacy. Celebrating Diversity

We invite you to partner with us in providing scholarships for members of our Unified Greek Council (formally MGC) and National Pan-Hellenic Council to join Order of Omega. Order of Omega serves as the premier honor society recognizing our sorority and fraternity members for their academic achievements and service to their campus community. Membership dues can often be a barrier to joining for students who qualify to join as exceptional scholars in our community. Our goal is to increase recruitment of our MGC and NPHC members and your gift of $80 for a dues scholarship paves a pathway to recruit students from diverse backgrounds to join the honor society.

Providing Safe Spaces to Gather

The National Pan-Hellenic Garden is home to seven of the nine historically Black Greek-lettered organizations. Erected in 2011, the National Pan-Hellenic Garden exists to promote community within the National Pan-Hellenic Council while highlighting the notable contributions made by these organizations at Baylor University. Your gift of $50 will help us provide cosmetic and educational updates to the garden.

Continued Training and Advocacy

Fraternity and Sorority Life is committed to the growth and development of our student members. There is a need for contributions aimed at providing the resources needed to create and support intentional programs focused on leadership development. A gift of $100 helps cover the costs for conference registration and travel fees for our FSL students. Oftentimes, students are required to attend leadership conferences hosted by national organizations with little, if any, financial support from the organizations themselves. Funding for these national and other regional leadership development opportunities will grant our students access to these resources and experiences.

Why We Need Your Support

We are proud of our Greek community. In their experiences, our students are thriving as they exhibit exceptional academic performance, contribute significant service to our community, and form lasting friendships grounded in the principled values of Baylor University. Baylor Fraternity and Sorority Life is a diverse community with over 40 inter/national and local organizations. This community offers its members opportunities to expand their undergraduate experience through service, leadership, campus involvement, academic excellence, spiritual growth and brotherhood, and sisterhood. We provide numerous leadership development programs throughout the year to all student organization leaders and encourage students to attend professional conferences to better support and enhance our programs.

Goal: $2,000
