Dedicated to excellence in sales education and based in the university's Hankamer School of Business, the Center for Professional Selling is recognized as one of the premier global information resources for the sales profession.
The real-life business and sales experiences that we provide ProSales students are invaluable. In fact, our 100% placement record in the midst of a pandemic speaks to the value of the program experiences. But, you may know this already.
What you may not know is that the opportunities students are afforded in the ProSales program are donor-and partnership-driven. Your gift, be it $5 or $5,000, will support Baylor student participation in essential learning opportunities, which will prove invaluable during students’ college and professional careers. These learning opportunities, such as Top Gun Training, sales competitions and other professional development programs, are integral to the ProSales experience and allow our students to hone their sales skills, gain experience and build their confidence.
This year’s Giving Day proceeds are designated toward the ProSales Alumni-funded scholarship. As we begin the day’s campaign, we have a base of $62,000 in this scholarship fund. Our goal is to complete the fundraising and reach the $100,000 level.
An anonymous donor will match the first $5,000 raised to create the momentum to reach $72,000. Dr. Andrea Dixon is challenging the ProSales classes (alumni and current) to compete against one another in order to raise the most money by class. The ProSales class providing the largest donation for 2021 Giving Day will be hosted at the Dixon’s lakehouse in the DFW metroplex.
