Seniors! Wow - you all are amazing! This year, our class stepped up in a huge way to support the Class of 2018 gift campaign. We wanted to give you a few brief updates to show you how far your gifts are going to go in making a major impact at Baylor University.

President Livingstone issued a challenge to the Senior Class that if 350 or more seniors made a gift this year, she would host a Dr Pepper Hour at her house. We met that challenge and exceeded it in a big way! We had 631 seniors make gifts this year, almost triple the number of seniors from last year! Way to go!! President Livingstone's Dr Pepper House was this past week and she really enjoyed visiting with those of you that stopped by to hear about your post-graduation plans.

The Class of 2018 raised money this year for two projects:

1. The restoration of the Carroll Field football sign. Money we gave will be used to support that project and we look forward to having that sign back on campus and proudly displayed!
2. We made a huge impact on the newly established "Student Care & Wellness Fund" - a new students helping students fund that will provide much needed emergency financial support to Baylor students when they need it most. These funds will help students cover medical expenses, emergency travel expenses, emergency living expenses, etc. And, to top it off, the senior class raised over $7,000 in seed money for this fund! 
3. Additionally, some of you supported Baylor by making donations when participating in different events, like running the Bearathon in support of Student Foundation or being a part of Baylor Mission Trips.

All of our gifts combined to almost $9,000 in total support to Baylor University and that is simply amazing. Every gift, whether $2 or $200 makes a difference!

We hope you all have a great summer and wish you the all the best on your future endeavors. Remember to get involved with the Alumni Network and we appreciate you continuing to financially support Baylor as alumni. We hope you will continue to give at least $20.18 each year to honor our class and the great experiences we shared at Baylor.
