This year has been one of the Mayborn Museum's best yet—welcoming over 180,000 visitors, providing affordable memberships to 400 families through Museums for All, and helping nearly half of our guests experience the excitement of Baylor research firsthand. Every moment of wonder and connection at the Mayborn happens because of you.

Now, we’re preparing for what’s next. In April 2026, we’ll open Cultural Crossroads, a brand-new exhibit exploring how people built their lives in 19th-century Central Texas—from stepping inside a grass house built by Wichita and Affiliated Tribes members, to hearing the sounds of gospel music, to traveling down the Chisholm Trail. It’s just the beginning of our Reigniting Curiosity Campaign, an ambitious plan to reimagine the entire museum for future generations.
