Graduation Philanthropy Cords

Any graduating student who makes a gift to Baylor of $5 or more at any point during their senior year is eligible to wear a philanthropy cord at graduation.

Graduation Philanthropy Cords

Do you remember the experiences you had early days as a Baylor student?

Running The Line, attending the bonfire on Homecoming eve, flinging your green and gold afar on DIA, and so many more traditions are all part of the experience the student life department works hard to create for our students.

Any graduating student who makes a gift of $5+ to the Student Life Excellence Fund at any point during their senior year is eligible to wear a Philanthropy Cord at their Commencement ceremony.  The Student Life Excellence Fund supports the longevity of beloved campus traditions, like Homecoming, DIA, Christmas on 5th, Dr Pepper Hour, the Bear Habitat, Family Weekend, and more. The unique green & gold cord symbolizes an affinity to Baylor and that you made a philanthropic contribution.

You will be notified that your cord is ready for pickup in advance of your graduation ceremony.
