Graduation Philanthropy Cords

Any graduating student who makes a gift of $5+ to Baylor at any point during their senior year is eligible to wear a Philanthropy Cord at their Commencement ceremony.

The unique green & gold cord symbolizes an affinity to Baylor and that you made a philanthropic contribution.

Why Does Giving Matter?

Many of the memories and experiences you cherish were made possible by the Baylor Family (generous alumni, parents, faculty and staff, and fans).

Dorm renovations, improved study spaces in Moody Library, a brand-new state-of-the-art Basketball arena, updated classroom equipment, and so much more are all thanks to the generosity of donors.

Giving to Baylor also funds scholarships for deserving students, attracts world-class faculty, and supports prestigious research opportunities to better the world.

Where Should I Give?

You will be able to designate your gift to a scholarship fund, or if you would prefer to contribute to another area on campus, please click here to be redirected to Baylor's giving website.

Additionally, we know that the student life experience is a critical part of your time at Baylor, so a gift to the Student Life Excellence Fund supports the longevity of beloved campus traditions, like Homecoming, DIA, Christmas on 5th, Dr Pepper Hour, the Bear Habitat, Family Weekend, and more.
