Missions, Service, and Public Life

Through Baylor’s Missions, Service and Public Life, individuals are prepared for worldwide leadership and service with a goal to make a better world together.   

In alignment with our mission, Baylor provides opportunities for students to love their neighbors by deepening human connection, cultivating self-discovery, developing a healthy worldview, and equipping servant-leaders. 

Bears practice leadership by volunteering more than 150,000 hours annually in local communities. Whether through Steppin’ Out, clinical, or field practice, knowledge, faith and calling are connected. 

In addition to domestic service, Baylor Global Missions opportunities engage more than 250 students annually. This year, 30+ trips are planned, including the addition of new sites in various countries.

• Student Missions Fund - provides additional support to students participating in missions as they prepare for worldwide leadership and service

• Student Life Excellence Fund - strengthens the student experience by providing resources for camps, events, student learning and engagement, spiritual development and career preparation
