Our Crowdfunding Groups
As we think about students' overall health and wellbeing, mental health plays an insurmountable role in their success. The Baylor Counseling Center seeks to foster wholeness for every student by meeting them where they're at through caring relationships, cultural humility and integrated mental health services.
Services provided include clinical treatment, outreach and prevention, consultation, liaison, training and education, which are available both through in-person and Telehealth appointments.
The Counseling Center Excellence Fund provides immediate resources to staff so they may allot funds where needed. For example, in 2022-2023, to address the increasing mental health needs of students, resources were used to provide awareness training for faculty, staff and students, to better identify signs of a student struggling and lead them to support.
