Pat Neff Hall is an iconic part of Baylor University’s skyline since 1939. The gold leaf dome and carillon are the most recognizable features of this Baylor landmark, but equally appreciated are the green lights that illuminate the building every time a Baylor team wins. The tradition of lighting Pat Neff green, which started in 1978 when Baylor Football beat Texas A&M, continues to put a smile on alumni faces with each Baylor Bear victory.
Throughout the years Student Government was charged with lighting the building, but the tradition has since shifted thanks to new LED lights gifted by the Class of 2022 and Student Government.
Gifts to Student Government support all that they do in representing our student body and seeking to enrich the quality of student life in the classroom and beyond.
