With more than 177 years since its founding, Baylor University is a place full of traditions. Did you know that our colors, Green and Gold, were inspired by wildflowers on the Texas prairie? Or that the school song, That Good Old Baylor Line, was penned to the tune of “In the Good Old Summer Time” which was a song popular in the early 1900’s? Baylor’s Yell Leaders keep many of these traditions alive, most notably, leading Baylor fans in the “Bear Claw” and the “Sic’Em Bears” yell at sporting events and alumni gatherings to help the Baylor Family show their pride!
