Senior Class Legacy

For over a century, the graduating senior class has bestowed upon the University a gift to mark their time and contributions to Baylor University. Whether it’s a concrete bench in the Quad from 1906, the restoration of the historic sign that marked the entry to Carroll Field, or improvements to the Bear Habitat, the Senior Class Gift is one of the most meaningful and lasting contributions of our graduates. 

This year's Senior Class Gift will support necessary enhancements to the lighting system technology to illuminate Pat Neff Hall.

After making your gift, be sure to come by the SUB (first-floor lobby) on May 3 or 4 or Moody Library (close to Starbucks) on May 9 or 10 to pick up your Philanthropy Cord during Commencement as recognition for being a Senior Class Philanthropist. 

All gifts will help us reach our goal! This will provide our Senior Class with a lasting legacy at Baylor and an opportunity to tell future Baylor Bears about our impact. 

Impact of Your Gift

Since 1978, Pat Neff Hall has glowed green after a Baylor athletics victory or to commemorate a sentimental moment in our community. The Senior Class Gift goal is to modernize the lightning by upgrading to an LED system that is brighter, more reliable, and easily adjustable. 

Traditions are critically important to the Baylor student experience because they unify the Baylor Line through generations. By preserving this unique element, we will embody one of a former university president, Patt Neff's favorite quotes engraved on the side of the building itself: "The keepers of history are as heroic as its makers."
