About This Scholarship
The Sarah Marie Turner Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting was established in 2021 in memory of Sarah Marie Turner.
About Sarah Marie Turner
Baylor University senior, Sarah Marie Turner, passed away on April 12, 2021, after a year-long battle with leukemia. Sarah is survived by her parents, Angie and Danny, and her twin sister, Natalie, also a Baylor student, and their extended family.
As a Baylor Business Fellow, Sarah was pursuing a joint Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting/Master of Accountancy (BBA/MAcc) degree and was preparing for the master's component of her academic journey. She also had a second major in Spanish. She was involved in the Christian Business Leaders student organization and Student Foundation and was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the national honorary accounting fraternity.
This endowed scholarship fund will provide assistance to deserving students attending Baylor University, Waco, Texas, who are enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business, with preference given to accounting graduate students.
