The Bright Light Endowed Scholarship Fund in Memory of Blythe Madelynne Speer, a Hord Challenge Scholarship, was established in 2020 by her parents, Zoe and Erik Speer of Kennesaw, Georgia.
For those touched by the passing of Blythe Madelynne Speer, this memorial scholarship seeks to pass on her joyous spirit, honor her memory, and bring comfort to her family and friends. It will be a living legacy benefiting future generations of incoming freshmen to Baylor University.
As many of you know, Baylor University was at the top of Blythe's list of universities to attend. She would drive through Waco each summer on yearly family trips back to Texas and excitedly point out Baylor. She shined bright to all who knew her and we are honored to share her lasting memory through this endowed scholarship fund for future Baylor students.
SAVE THE DATE: The family is organizing an event to take place in Belton, Texas during the family’s annual reunion week over the July 4th holiday. Details are still pending. Come back often to check for updates.
