1/15/2021 Update: New goal is $10,000!
Due to incredibly generous contributions from our Faculty Senate, we have already exceeded our initial goal amount of $3,000! The overwhelming support has convinced us to add $7,000 to our original goal and set a stretch goal of $10,000 for the remaining time of our fundraising campaign. We realize this is quite an ambitious goal and every gift, no matter its size, makes a difference.

How Do My Dollars Make An Impact?
The Baylor University Faculty Senate is raising funds to help fight food insecurity for Baylor students. We need your help to provide funding for meal cards that will be distributed to those students. Thanks to an agreement with Aramark, a student who receives a card can purchase a meal from a campus dining facility for only $5. If the Senate can meet its goal of raising $3,000, the donations will fund at least 600 meals for students at Baylor. With our stretch goal of $15,000, donations will fund at least 3,000 meals for students in need. Current research at Baylor indicates that 15-25% of our students struggle with some level of food insecurity.
Donations will be given to The Store, a food pantry located in the Sid Richardson Building, and The Store will distribute the meal cards as scholarships. Students in need will receive 100% of any amount donated.

Your donation of $250 covers the cost of 2 food pantry staff members to obtain their Food Manager Certification.
Your donation of $500 will provide at least 5 students with a meal card scholarship of $100 each.
Your donation of $1,000 will provide 200 nutritious meals to Baylor students fighting for food security.
