Mayborn Museum Natural Science and Cultural History Renovation

Since 2004 when the Sue and Frank Mayborn Natural Science and Cultural History Museum Complex opened at Baylor University, our natural science and cultural history exhibits have been a paramount attraction at the museum. With a lead gift from a generous donor, the Mayborn is launching a four-phased, ten-year master plan for the renovation of our natural science and cultural history exhibits—the largest renovation in the Mayborn’s history.

The renovation will provide innovative upgrades to the natural science and cultural history spaces. New additions will include an Acrocanthrosaurus that comes to life every ten minutes through a projection system and theatrical sound system, a replica of the Waco Suspension Bridge that walks guests through Central Texas’ history, and bronze mammoths at the entrance of the museum. The future has never been brighter for the Mayborn Museum. Make a gift today to support renovations at the Mayborn Museum.
