Our Crowdfunding Groups
A team of nursing students and leaders travel from Baylor Louise Herrington School of Nursing to McAllen, Texas during spring break. They work with the Texas Baptist River Ministry missionary serving the local colonies and volunteering in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Respite Center. The respite center provides a place for the countless men, women, children and infant refugees to rest, have a warm meal, a shower, and change into clean clothing as well as receive medicine and other supplies, before continuing on their journey.
