MAPS + Public Health Students in the Dominican Republic

This Spring Break, a group of 12 students and 2 professors from the Multicultural Association of PreHealth Students and Public Health will be traveling to the Dominican Republic to work along side El Buen Samaratino. During this trip, the students will be preparing and teaching health education classes to students and families. Help support these students as the share their knowledge and love of Christ with the children that they will have the opportunity to spend the week with!

During this mission trip, students will have the opportunity to practice basic medical skills in the context of a developing healthcare environment under the direct supervision of Dominican physicians, come to grips with faith-informed health solutions in low socioeconomic areas, and experience and participate in Christian-based compassionate healthcare. Our hope is that this experience allows us to help mold this generation of Baylor students into professionals who know how to combine their education with their faith in all areas of their life.
