On Friday, On Nov. 22, Baylor Law, in partnership with McLennan County Department of Families and Child Protective Services, will celebrate it's twelfth annual National Adoption Day with three dozen central Texas families as their adoptions become finalized.
Over the past 12 years, Baylor Law’s Public Interest Legal Society has organized Adoption Day, There will be games, food, and fun for everyone involved.
Since its inception, more than 600 Baylor Law students have volunteered thousands of hours before, during, and after Adoption Days, one of the largest volunteer events at the law school. Your financial support will be used to underwrite the expenses involved in this elaborate event.
Provides financial support for the many planned activities during Adoption Day. These include rescue operations, fun games, and much more.
Provides funds so that each family can take home a gift basket of INCREDIBLE items to help them memorialize this special day. Items will include books, videos, and other stocking stuffers.
This year’s adoption day will include a dedicated area for an "Incredible News Stand’ to keep up with the news of the day... who's missing... what INCREDIBLE rescues have taken place... and more!
Adoption Day at Baylor Law has grown with each year, and with your help, this year’s event will surpass them all. From the Kronzer Courtroom (Room 127) to the Student Lounge, the first floor of Baylor Law will be converted to an INCREDIBLE super-hero themed story land - including the super-villain's volcanic lair and more!
