After 45 years of dedicated service to Baylor University, Betsy Best Willis will be completing her last classroom activities at the end of this semester. Her official retirement date is May, 2022. It is our sincere pleasure to update you on the progress made to date on the Betsy Best Willis Endowed Scholarship Fund at Baylor University. As a Senior Lecturer of Accounting and student advisor, Betsy has consistently made outstanding contributions to enrich the lives of Baylor students. This scholarship is a permanent legacy by which her name and impact will always be remembered.
For 45 years, Betsy has mentored thousands of students with determination to help them realize and fulfill their dreams. As you may remember, Betsy’s contributions to the life of Baylor have far exceeded those she has made in the classroom. She has served as an exceptional campus leader, investing personal time as a sponsor for several organizations, including Beta Alpha Psi, Baylor Chamber of Commerce and Delta Delta Delta.
Betsy consistently embraces “Anything for Baylor” by her intentional investment in students and Baylor University. Whether you know Betsy as a former student, personal friend, or business associate, we’re sure you understand the importance of such selfless investment. The Betsy Best Willis Endowed Scholarship Fund is a much-deserved tribute that will touch the lives of future generations of Baylor students by providing scholarships for those in need. Already, numerous accounting majors have benefitted from the generosity of donors in the past.
