Betsy Willis Endowed Scholarship in Accounting

Dear Friends,

It is our sincere pleasure to inform you of the newly created Betsy Best Willis Endowed Scholarship Fund at Baylor University. As a Senior Lecturer of Accounting and student advisor, Betsy consistently makes outstanding contributions to enrich the lives of Baylor students. We are honored to establish this scholarship as a permanent legacy by which her name and impact will always be remembered.

For 35 years, Betsy has mentored thousands of students with determination to help them realize and fulfill their dreams. As you may remember, Betsy’s contributions to the life of Baylor have far exceeded those she has made in the classroom. She has served as an exceptional campus leader, investing personal time as a sponsor for several organizations, including Beta Alpha Psi, Baylor Chamber of Commerce and Delta Delta Delta.

Betsy consistently embraces “Anything for Baylor” by her intentional investment in students and Baylor University. Whether you know Betsy as a former student, as a personal friend or business associate, we’re sure you understand the importance of such selfless investment. The Betsy Best Willis Endowed Scholarship Fund is a much-deserved tribute that will touch the lives of future generations of Baylor students by providing scholarships for those in need.

We invite you to join us in celebrating this remarkable professor and assuring that her legacy is preserved. We are nearing our goal of $250,000.  We thank you in advance for helping us further this honorary scholarship fund.
