What is Baylor Giving Day?
Our annual 24-hour university-wide philanthropic event inspires the Baylor Family to make a gift to their favorite area of campus.
When does it start?
Baylor Giving Day will begin at 12:00 am CT on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and will run until 5 a.m. CT on Thursday, April 3, 2025 to accommodate the state of Hawaii.
Why should I participate in Baylor Giving Day?
Whether you can give $5 or $500, your gift combines with gifts of all sizes from others to fund initiatives like: scholarships, state-of-the-art facilities, hands-on learning opportunities, and more!
What if I don't see my school or organization on the list?
If you do not see the area you would like to support, please consider a gift to the Baylor University General Scholarship fund, so you can become a part of our new Extend the Line scholarship initiative, and we can continue to help current and future Bears experience all that Baylor has to offer. What will my donation fund?
It’s up to you! You may designate your gift to any area of the university that is important to you. Whether your heart is with your college or school or you have an interest in a specific research initiative or student program at Baylor, you are free to choose what your gift supports.
What if I'm Baylor faculty or staff and want to complete my gift through payroll deduction?
Payroll deduction is available by clicking here.
Can I make my gift by check?
Absolutely! Just make sure to notate it is for Baylor Giving Day 2025 (25_OTHER_BGD) in the memo. You can then mail gifts to:

Can I give through my Donor Advised Fund (DAF)?
As a reminder, you are able to use your Donor Advised Fund or appreciated stock for giving through normal processes. Please notate it is for Baylor Giving Day 2025 (25_OTHER_BGD). How do I donate?
When the campaign is live, you can click the "Make A Gift" button at the top of the website.
Is my gift secure?
Absolutely. Baylor Giving Day is integrated into Baylor University’s online giving platform that utilizes Blackbaud which is PCI Level 1-compliant. When making a gift during Baylor Giving Day you are just as secure as making an online gift to Baylor University.
Will my gift on Baylor Giving Day be tax-deductible?
All gifts to Baylor University, including those on Baylor Giving Day supporting specific areas of Baylor are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
