A World Without Hunger Fund

Through the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty, Baylor leads the way in creating scalable solutions to end hunger across our state, nation, and globe. More than 4 million Texans (nearly 1 in 7)1 report that at some point in the past year, they did not know where their next meal would come from. Even more alarming, 1 in 5 Texas children report experiencing hunger. In a nation with abundant resources, this level of hardship is difficult to comprehend.

At the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty, we believe no one sector can end hunger alone. Therefore, our team works directly with communities across the state, nation, and world to build multi-sector, collaborative solutions to end hunger. However, we don’t stop there. Housed within an R1 institution, the Baylor Collaborative evaluates these innovative solutions to end hunger and works with our partners in government, business, and academia to scale evidence-based solutions for the long term.

This giving season, the Baylor Collaborative seeks to partner with the Baylor family to support our strategic goals to continue Baylor’s R1 research on food security and engage key community leaders to grow their understanding of food security issues. Donating to our work will support our ongoing effort to build collaborative interventions to tackle hunger in every county in Texas by 2030.  These funds will allow us to partner with more Texas communities and support their efforts to end hunger through evidence-based practices.  We’re asking for the Baylor family to shine your lights bright and represent our calling to feed the hungry by supporting the work of the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty.  "
