Mayborn Endowed Excellence Fund fuels the work happening every day throughout the museum. Your gift helps make possible Cultural Crossroads, a new gallery opening in Spring 2026 that will explore the people, cultures, and innovations that shaped Central Texas. It also advances Phase Two of the Mayborn’s 10 Year Renovation Plan, building a Texas Ecology exhibit with updated science, immersive environments, and hands-on learning. From school field trips to weekend family visits and programs like SIC’Em Science Day, the Mayborn is a place where learning is active, accessible, and joyful.
Thanks to a generous $10,000 matching gift from longtime Mayborn volunteers Andrew and Michelle Cobb, every gift made on April 1 will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000. That means your support will have twice the impact on the experiences we offer families, educators, and lifelong learners across Central Texas.
